I wanted to share with you 5 things that I've learned about jumping rope or skipping, depending on what you call it.
It's an amazing exercise, easy to start, relatively cheap (depending on your choice of rope) and can be done pretty much anywhere.
But first, my first tip with exercise, above all others, is to pick something that you enjoy. Chances are that you will then be able to keep it up, right? Especially, if it's a tough exercise.
Pick something that challenges you. Set yourself challenge with a target, or end goal. Something that you can measure yourself against. Challenges can be really motivating so are well worth looking at and I would definitely recommend following a challenge or making one up for yourself.
